This trip is a take 3 of the snowy river region trip. At Christmas, The Deddick trail was impassable due to high rivers and sections of the track had been closed due to fallen trees. Then at Easter, parks had closed it to repair the tracks. So let’s go for number 3. Thursday December 26th 2024

The Club will be holding our Xmas Party on Sunday 1st December at the Murrindindi Scenic Reserve. It will be a great time with some awesome food and some games will also be organised. The historic area includes a wooden trestle bridge along with the original power station built in the 1920s. The trip will try to follow Trek#13 of the 4wd treks close to Melbourne. The trek distance is 70+kms on mostly dirt road. It should be easy in dry conditions for 4wd and Awd vehicles. Medium in wet conditions for 4wd only. Heading over to Beachport for the annual Melbourne Cup long weekend trip. Staying at Beachport Caravan Park (https://www.beachportcaravanpark.com.au/).
