Join Geoff, Clint and Club 4×4 for a Snow Trip to Mt Skene… We will run 2 trips, one from Walhalla to Jamieson (South/North) and the other from Jamieson to Walhalla (North/South). We will get bookings now and submit for the Trip with FWD Victoria as soon as the Permit System Opens. The Trip could happen a week or two either side of the allocated date depending on when we can get the permit for. We will book up to 20 vehicles with two groups, one heading from Jamison south and the other heading from Licola or Walhalla North. We will be camping at Mt Skene so be prepared to camp above the Snowline. The South/North trip will meet near Walhalla or Licola Friday night and head off on Saturday morning north to the Licola-Jamieson Road via Aberfeldy and Mt Selma. We’ll then follow the Licola-Jamieson Road to the summit of Mt Skene where we plan to camp. On Sunday we’ll head down to Jamieson. The North/South trip will commence from Jamieson and tackle the route in the reverse direction. Participants will be allocated to either trip as we get closed to the date. This allocation will be so that there is a mix of experienced drivers on both trips. Join Mathew, Linda and Club 4x4 once again for a relaxing break on the Murray. This time, we are adding ‘The Carp Classic on the Murray’ to our weekend. This club-only fishing competition will yield rewards for the biggest carp and the most caught, and of course bragging rights. Join Clint, Mark and Club 4×4 for a crossing of the Simpson Desert along the famous Madigan Line. This is without doubt an amazing trip through a very remote part of Australia visiting some iconic sites travelling along a historic track. The trip will start in Mt Dare with a 5-8 day trek via the Pastoral Rd up to Old Andado Homestead (Old Andado Homestead) for a look around at a piece of history in the desert, and onto the beginning the gruelling trek along the Madigan Line. After leaving Madigan camp 15, we will try and continue on the Madigan all the way to the QAA line and on to have some fun at big red. We will camp here for the final night, but if there are closures the trip will head south on the Hay River Track and then join up onto the French Line at Poeppel Corner. We will back track to the QAA Line and have some fun on Big Red, where we will camp for our final night in the desert, before ending the trip in Birdsville. The trip distance is approximately 850km from Mt Dare to Birdsville. Join Club 4x4 and Jacob for an awesome camping and 4WDing trip to the High Country! There will be some site seeing as well as lots of time on the tracks and great places to camp. Use this form to book participation on Club trips – ONE BOOKING PER VEHICLE BOOKINGS CLOSE 48 HOURS PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF TRIP This completed booking will be sent by email to the Events Manager who will collate for the Trip Leader You will receive confirmation of your Registration and the Events Manager will confirm your booking.  If a trip is fully booked, you will have the option of making a Waitlist booking.  The Events Manager will contact you up to 24 hours out if you are moved off the waitlist. Waitlist bookings are not confirmed trip bookings unless contacted by the Events Manager. Please make sure that you have filled out a Personal Details Form and keep this in the glove box of your vehicle.   As a condition of making this booking: I certify that all persons in this booking are either Full Members, Temporary Members or Junior Members of the club. I fully understand the Trip Rating, and the subsequent expected track conditions and I have the required driver competency and vehicle requirements for this trip. I fully understand the Club Trip Rules and Club Values and agree to comply with them and be responsible for my own safety and the safety of passengers in my vehicle. I fully understand the publishing rules for photographs taken at this event. Join Club 4×4 and Erin for another round of the Club Camp Cookout.  Dust off the utensils and pans, dig out the old recipes and come along and share the numerous dishes provided by the talented Chef’s among us. The idea is to provide a dish to share which has been cooked onsite in any way you choose. That may be on your gas burner, a frying pan over the fire or the good old camp oven, it’s up to you. We will be camping at the Murrindindi Scenic Reserve ($7/night) for a camp cooking session in the reserved area that we were to use for the 2023 Xmas Party.
