El Dorado to Mt Stanley – 29th – 31st August 2025

This weekend is going to be a base camp trip with some 4x4ing on the Saturday based out of El Dorado Caravan Park. Caravan and Camper Trailer friendly, dog friendly trip as well. People that are coming will need to book a campsite for themselves by contacting the caravan park. Planning on having a feed the Saturday night at the local tavern in El Dorado.

We will be travelling towards the summit of Mt Stanley coming through Beechworth, seeing a waterfall along the way, and doing a couple tracks along the way as well like Stanley jeep track and Wallys track. the route doesn't prove to be too difficult but could be weather dependant.

I have checked Parks Vic track closures and all tracks that I've planned on doing are open even with seasonal closures but as always expect the unexpected... we are in Victoria Afterall!

Booking on the Trip:

EVERYONE on a Club Trip must be a registered member, either as a General Member, Temporary Member or Junior Member (see Member Categories).

• Use this form to book participation on Club trips – ONE BOOKING PER VEHICLE
• BOOKINGS CLOSE 48 HOURS PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF TRIP
• This completed booking will be sent by email to the Events Manager who will collate for the Trip Leader
• You will receive confirmation of your Registration and the Events Manager will confirm your booking. 
• If a trip is fully booked, you will have the option of making a Waitlist booking.  The Events Manager will contact you up to 24 hours out if you are moved off the waitlist. Waitlist bookings are not confirmed trip bookings unless contacted by the Events Manager.
• Please make sure that you have filled out a Personal Details Form and keep this in the glove box of your vehicle.

As a condition of making this booking:

• I certify that all persons in this booking are either Full Members, Temporary Members or Junior Members of the club.
• I fully understand the Trip Rating, and the subsequent expected track conditions and I have the required driver competency and vehicle requirements for this trip.
• I fully understand the Club Trip Rules and Club Values and agree to comply with them and be responsible for my own safety and the safety of passengers in my vehicle.
• I fully understand the publishing rules for photographs taken at this event.
• I have completed a Personal Details form to cover myself and each of my passengers and placed it in the glove box or console. The Personal Details form can be download here: ( Personal Details Form )
• I acknowledge that the Trip Leader has the authority to refuse my participation if he/she considers my vehicle unsuitable for the advertised trip, or I do not have a confirmed booking.
